No man chooses evil because it is evil; he only mistakes it for happiness, the good he seeks. A man who as a physical being is always turned toward the outside, thinking that his happiness lies outside him.
Finally turns inward and discovers that the source is within him. Happiness is good health and a good memory.
Love is that condition in which the happiness of another person is essential to your own. There are people who can do all fine and heroic things but one; keep from telling their happiness to the unhappy. I have learned from experience that the greater part of our happiness or misery depends on our dispositions and not on our circumstances.
